TIG Welding Usage Instructions& Precautions:

• Surface Preparation

  Ensure base metal is clean, from oil, rust, paint or other contaminants.Use a dedicated stainless steel wire brush to prevent-contamination.
• Tungsten Electrode Selection

  Select a suitable tungsten electrode and properly grind its tip stable initiation.Keep electrodes clean and undamaged consistent welding performance.
• Shielding Gas

  Use% argon or an argon-helium mixture improved penetration.Maintain a proper gas flow rate, usually 10–15 L/min.
• Polarity& Settings

  Set welding to DCEN stainless steel TIG welding.Adjust amperage based on rod diameter and material thickness (e.g., 1.6 mm rod: approx.50–80A).
• Filler Rod Handling

  Match filler rod grade (304, 308, 316L) with base metal best results.Feed rod smoothly into molten pool to avoid oxidation.
• Post-Weld Cleaning

  Remove discoloration and oxidation with a stainless steel brush or pickling solution to restore corrosion resistance.
• Safety

  Wear proper PPE including welding helmet, gloves and flame-resistant clothing. Ensure good ventilation to reduce exposure to welding fumes.
